Generally, today showed me more than I already knew, how much competition there is in the mushroom market.

My quick hit market analysis:

Gourmet mushroom: grow them and they will come

Psychedelic mushrooms: too mush competition. You gotta make products from your mush, nobody wants just mushrooms.

Spores And Cultures: there are some mega experts about this stuff. My thesis is cultures is a value-added product to another product line.

General supplies: lots of competition

Electronics and sensors: I still feel relatively unique here.

Generally competition is always good, it’s a sign that there is a market. My goal is to carve out a niche among these product lines which I can be the expert.
