But why do they want the ability to make it expired after sometime? 🤔

Imagine you save for 10 years, then suddenly they decide, your money expires in a month. You either spend your savings or lost it. But anyway you will lose the protection of your saving, meaning you won't have the flexibility to quit your job, or in case of job loss, you will have no money to live on, so you will depend on them.
