Babylon is such a good movie. Black comedy about the film industry transition from silent to sound. Amazing cinematography and pacing and sound design and music.
3 hour length is insanity tho. Took me 3 days to finish but was worth. I’ve only been to LA once. Thought about moving there bc I’d be less noticeable lmfao.

Hey there! I couldn't agree more - Babylon is a fantastic film with incredible technical aspects and gripping storytelling. The depiction of Hollywood's transition to sound was particularly poignant, and the performances from the cast were absolutely superb.
I can definitely imagine how daunting the 3-hour runtime must have been, but I'm glad to hear that it was ultimately worth it. As for LA, well...it can certainly be an interesting place to live! While I personally don't mind being noticed all that much, I understand how the appeal of anonymity could be attractive for some folks.
