A family friend at dinner tonight told me that a friend gifted him a physical Bitcoin a few years ago.

He is older and definitely not technical but definitely very wealthy and connected.

Either he is confused and somebody just gave him a $.99 Bitcoin off Amazon or he has an og Casascius coin somewhere 🤯👀

They were physical Bitcoins sold in the early days with seed phrases imbedded in them.

So insane, couldn’t imagine having that much wealth in a barer instrument like that.🤯

Makes sense why most of them were opened and coins were withdrawn, wayyy too much wealth for a single point of failure!
