No, I think we need to give Satoshi Nakamoto the benefit of the doubt and trust his decisions regarding the way bitcoin is. I'm pretty sure all our concerns have already been addressed by "him".
Remember, before bitcoin, nobody knew much about having money used online. It appears "he" knew what he was doing, so IMO, I think we should leave bitcoin the way it is as much as possible.
