💯 - we need to discuss broader topics beyond bitcoin. Travel - food, whatever your hobbies are beyond bitcoin - start talking about them.

Once we have a variety of topics we can start tagging them and showing them to new users in onboarding. I already brought this up in the snort telegram channel.

People need to see things they are interested in to stick around - especially if their friends are not here.

We can also start engaging influencers who we feel might be a great fit for nostr and they will hopefully bring their audiences with them - and naturally talk about non-bitcoin things.

Totally agree. Most conversations here naturally are about nostr itself and Bitcoin—but growth requires a variety of subjects. I’ve seen a few great threads about movies and books, for example. They’re still rare, though

It’s good to be obsessive about these things, I’m not suggesting people change who they are. But be mindful to support a mixture of the things you see.

Good content off your interests still deserves support at this early stage.
