After samourai the alby people stopped their remote node service, lots of people doing custodial LN dropped it. I'm curious if anyone is left so I can use their services.

yeah I still use Phoenix via VPN,
the privacy tradeoffs are fine with me because I have only a very small stack on LN and its all noKYC
for custodial solutions ecash built on LN makes the most sense to me.
if LN is actually successful i think its also going to be a settlement layer

I just installed minibits and received my first (and only!) zap
I know you can zap *from Phoenix
but of course receiving is the hard part
doing ecash and letting the mints take care of fucking around with LN makes a lot of sense to me.
How would I go about setting up custodial ecash with nostr?
I like the minibits wallet with Amethyst.
I have to manually approve each zap in the wallet however.

Amethyst asked the 1st time I hit the zap button and now minibits pops up and asks for confirmation when I send
And you need to put your minibits address into your Amethyst profile as LN address to receive. Sometime they seem to take a while to actually arrive.
