Fun Fact: I started teaching at the collegiate level as an adjunct at the age of 23. Fresh out of graduate school at the age of 22. After becoming full time faculty, I stayed in that position for many years.

In 2019, I bowed out gracefully and walked away with no desire to return.

Why would someone so accomplished and distinguished just leave after so many years? I didn’t get fired. I wasn’t about to get fired. Everyone was shocked to find out I was leaving.

Well, I had 13 reasons. I won’t list them here. But just know I have NO regrets. I left formal higher education on my own terms.

And turned my attention to teaching about God.
