Besides you could have both maybe? And the non-zap polls also have pow options, and follwer filter options, which would help somewhat. They are also just more fun to use. Which is the main thing:)

Polls in places like Nostr serve no other purpose than fun. Also the more you zap the more your vote counts? That doesn't sound accurate. It means richer people have stronger vote
You can actually set up zap polls to have min/max. You could set the max to 1 sat. But yes in theory you could have polls which register larger zaps as more of a vote lol.
But yes I agree with you, most polls are done for fun. Barely anyone wants to zap a poll. Feels like a stupid way to do it.
