Interesting, never heard of it! Do you know how they fund themselves if they have no paid tiers?
I know - they are czech app under Seznam.cz which is local but very popular competitor to Google. Very wealthy company.
It’s owner is one of the wealthiest people in Czech republic. Very smart guy, philantropist but… he unfortunately doesn’t get Bitcoin and thinks it’s a ponzi scheme.
I was amazed when I found out that this app is used troughout the world even by people that don’t know that our country even exists.
Fascinating! I will look into it some more. It seems to collect more data than OSM.. while it says ‘not linked to you’, I am not too keen on that.. like could it be linked later?
That said, it’s also just trust that OSM doesn’t collect..
