filter.nostr.wine is pay to read, it uses NIP-42 auth to verify your identity so you need to be a paying customer. You can try some public relays that support search like nostr.wine or relay.nostr.band

Ok, thanks for the explanation. I thought you could read from any relay, just not necessarily write to any relay. That's good to know.
