How does one paid relay help your experience when you're using a bunch of other ones as well?

It helps that relays are well funded for their hardware.
You only need to see an event on 1 relay for it to be viewable, but you're accessing thousands of events when you use nostr.
I plan on setting up my own relay at some point for my own privacy & convenience.
