My time in Costa Rica and Awake Retreat Centre is coming to an end today.

It's been an extremely illuminating experience. It's my first time travelling to meet Bitcoiners in the flesh after many years of self study and journeying down the rabbit hole.

They are just as I'd expected:

- Honest

- Curious

- Welcoming

- Extremely Intelligent

- Guided by principle

Humanity is in such good hands. I leave feeling inspired and full.

The Bitcoin Jungle project seems destined to become a model for other grassroots communities across the globe and I feel priviledged to have been here for the first official gathering.

I can't wait to be back next year to reconnect and connect with new faces. Also to see the exponential growth and progress of this place.
