Bisq 2 is set to be the successor to Bisq v1 and will support multiple trade protocols, multiple privacy networks and multiple identities.

I'm surprised it took Bisq this long to integrate Lightning support, but I understand that engineering is challenging.

Now that Bisq 2.1 supports Lightning, it's clear that the peer-to-peer trading software is perfectly suited for lightning-fast transactions. What will be really fascinating is when we start seeing atomic swaps on Lightning, at which point the user experience will be even better.
