I eat with chopsticks not just because it makes me slow down and enjoy my food longer but also because of something Confucius said ages ago. He thought knives at the table reminded people of violence and war. Chopsticks, on the other hand, stand for peace and civility. I like that. Food should be enjoyed, not conquered.
