We have to stop thinking like techies and start thinking like normal people.

Normies don’t care about decentralization or freedom until their current apps start to suck for them personally.

The only way to get more normies to Nostr is:

1. Make it easier — onboarding needs to be as simple as logging into Instagram. (No keys, no jargon, no steps unless they want to go deeper later.)

2. Make it useful — show them something they can’t get on other platforms. (Example: unique communities, real conversations, better discovery, uncensored topics.)

3. Make it fun — memes, gossip, events, zaps, stupid games, viral moments. People follow fun, not manifestos.

4. Be patient — normies only move when a platform shift is obvious (think Facebook → Instagram → TikTok). It takes time.

And most importantly:

Don’t try to “educate” people first. Show them value first. Education follows when they’re already having a good time.
