Reps. Nunn (R-IA) & Himes (D-CT) reintroduced the Financial Technology Protection Act (FTPA) to combat illicit finance & terrorism funding on digital asset platforms. The bill creates a task force of DOJ, FinCEN, FBI, & IRS to review digital asset activity. Similar bill passed the House last year.
