I considered the hit-and-run deductible + monthly ins premium increase an acceptable tradeoff for not being harassed by the local police thugs for every innocuous traffic violation. (Im a very grampy-low-time-pref driver btw so this was mostly a courtesy for my fellow high-time-pref driving morans).

Now the local cop patrol and meter maids are harassing every driver and parked vehicle on the road.
