I used to have chickens (mostly Buff Orpingtons) and loved having them. Their happy "cluck, cluck, cluck" was so peaceful and of course I liked the eggs and meat (my family prefers dark meat and Buff Orpingtons have giant thighs and drumsticks, but smaller breasts).
