One of the largest open-pit mines that still operates in 🇨🇿 Czech republic. Will be operating until 2028. It is calculated that from that point it wouldn’t be profitable to mine there.

You may think that it would be the case when we close down all the surrounding coal plants as well. But nah. We will just import twice as pricy and worse quality coal from Poland.
