Nostr is a new way of doing the internet that is inherently social

Like phone apps were a different way than web pages, and web pages were a different way than AOL.

I think screaming PROTOCOL at everybody is a horrible way to gain adoption.

Way back when (i'm old 🤷) us tech savvy folks were trying to get people out of AOL were weren't screaming about how cool a protocol http was. It was just The Web and you could find cool stuff with it.

so maybe

Nostr is the social internet.

or

It's not a social app, it's the social internet.

Totally agree! Otherwise you are stuck explaining the differences between a protocol and a platform and why protocols are better.

Oh I had assumed your issue with their post was the "best" part not the "content" part.

I can see how "content" has negative connotations these days with "influencers" and other social media garbage.
