Though the inscriptions situation is taking too long with low perspective of self resolution and Bitcoiners are starting seriously to take sovereign action in their power to op-in in any Bitcoin Core version they wish and give added value. 
After studying this solution, it does more harm than good unfortunately. This situation in a way made me lose some confidence in bitcoin, what will happen if a more serious problem than this one occurs and the developers do not resign themselves to correcting it?
I wonder how comparable ordinals are to OP_RETURN, when this « war » broke out the people who were fighting against it were they in the same situation as us? That is to say, relatively few people who react?
Bitcoin is very far from becoming a shitcoin but letting this kind of thing pass brings us closer, I would think twice before adopting a new soft fork to add new features.
I think an #Ordislow implementation is still a solution to balance the exploit of arbitrary data into the Timechain using the SegWit discount.
