Basically the gist is, Knots just happened to be there, as a node that keeps op_return to a minimum, for people to hop on and increase their voice to show their resistance to core 30's op_return change. They don't necessarily care about the person behind it, in fact they might even like the person at all, but they're biting the bullet for now with knots to signal the disagreement with core 30.

For me, assuming all this info is true, I'm biting the bullet for now with knots until there's a majority of it being knots (or until core 30 reverse the op_return change), at which point I'd want something like knots but not ran by the same person.

This isn't about being pro-knots, it's about being anti-core 30 update / anti high op_return with an anti inscriptions on the side.

This is a typical hit piece. Don't think to much about it. nostr:nprofile1qqszrqlfgavys8g0zf8mmy79dn92ghn723wwawx49py0nqjn7jtmjagpz4mhxue69uhkummnw3ezummcw3ezuer9wchszyrhwden5te0dehhxarj9ekk7mf0qy88wumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmv9uynmh4h memes and not wanting to propagate spam with your node is all you need. You can run Knots or something like https://github.com/vinteumorg/Floresta . It is all good as long as it allows you to filter stuff you don't want in your mempool.
