Where did nostr:npub1xr7t5h0l25ej73pm04zgz9afeexyzsjx67s5v0xxf2sshjn4sx6sep2gqh go?

Nostr is full of false hype, so people will join it expecting results they're not gonna get and then return elsewhere.
More people need to hype nostr for its legitimate value instead of false shit. For growth at this early and desolate stage, we need to find who in the world is willing to sacrifice short term gains for survival, not pander to the lowest common denominator
I get your point, but it wouldn’t cost him much time or effort to cross post a bit more. And I’d welcome a lil influx of his fans here.
He doesn't seem to care about the time or effort, he just seems to want to maximize the speed and wealth with which he dies instead of minimizing them, and traditional social media is better for that. Same with basically everyone that has a lot of dedicated fans; they get those dedicated fans by pandering to the death cult, not trying to survive.
The question is, are there any exceptions?
And the way to find the answer would be by looking for exceptions in the real world instead of the imagination.
Real exceptions are people that have a big fanbase, but will happily trade fans for days or years of healthy life. Not people who we pretend will magically be so successful on nostr, it doesn't even cost them anything, while in the real world nostr isn't that good and that doesn't happen.
Yeah, it’s kind of a depressing calculus. The exceptions seem to be mostly bitcoin “influencers” (for lack of better term), for now. Think it’ll shift in due time.
I only came here because those people migrated here, and not for some more noble reason
I always tell people they are needed on nostr. That's the truth, and they would be interested immediately if they believed it, but the world is so full of doublespeak they read "we need you" as "we're desperate for ad revenue from you"
I keep trying to get @Tanya_Sabrinaaa from X to join, I think she hates Bitcoin and her being here would make nostr and the world so much better. If only nostr was censorship resistant enough for folks to join together doing organized drive-by join-nostr-begging sprees on select targets
The approach to finding people who are OK with losing some fans to bring others to nostr is to say: "you should lose some of your fans to bring others to nostr"
Not to say: "you should come to nostr where we're ready to help you break down the walls of censorship and take over the world"
