My understanding is that the courts have ruled that law enforcement cannot force you to enter a password but bio ID like fingerprints and faceID to unlock your phone is fair game. I could be wrong. I’m not a lawyer.

The setting in privacy is to open any private browsing tabs once the phone is already unlocked.

So, as a privacy advocate , you see no issues with it? i mean, they're already getting my thumbprint, so I suppose I should cease my cackle (as grandpa would say LOL).

FaceID is so incredibly convenient. Feel free to use it around the house. If you are at risk of being searched or traveling turn it off.
