The key here being "doesn't exist". The "yet" part i feel we could argue about. I feel like this is comparable to nuclear fusion. It's probably going to be there in 30 years for a really long time.

It's great for fear though which is the best human emotion for sharing content and giving the news site more clicks and thus ad revenue.

Thanks. This was shared by a cryptograpy teaching professor, I respect. But he is saying that traditional cryptography is pretty much broken due to Shor’s and Grover’s algorithm. I don’t actually believe that, but it is tough to refute.
