FEEDBACK REQUEST:

What do you think about an option in NostrGram for a configurable bit of content to put at the bottom of each of your notes (tagline)? For an example see the bottom of this note.

In the Bulletin/Message Boards that were used before social media became the go-to place, you could put a tagline below your messages. It can get spammy so it would have to be limited in size (and you would have to understand that if you made it spammy you'd probably get blocked/muted by a bunch of people). But in a free market world I also like the idea of you being able to link out to your website or just have a quote you love or something at the bottom of each message.

As always, since this is a feedback question, any ⚡ sent to this note in the first 30 minutes will be redistributed to everyone who replies within the first 30 minutes.

Example tagline: 👇

So a kind of signature... It could be good with the addition of a checkbox to enable it when desired ✅

Yes, a signature (and yes, optional).

I think it’s feature that would be greatly appreciated by serious content creators and their followers if used wisely. As you said, the free market would take care of spammers.

I think it's a great idea to have as an option.🙏😁👍

I don't mind it as an option with limitations. 1 line? Character limit? No images/gifs?

1 line with a character limit is what I'm thinking. Good idea about preventing images. I'll see what I can do about that.

You want to censor Signature lines?? How DARE you!

As a long time user of message boards (still use a bunch!) I think this is a great idea. But definitely keep it limited.

It will be limited to 1 line of no more than 80 characters and image links will not be allowed.

Perfect! Thank you.

PS: If I have a couple of feature requests what's the best way to get them to you?

DM me. 😄

Not a big fan of this, TBH. Profile isn't a good enough place for that? Sounds like a lot of redundancy.

Don’t really like it. Profile bio has the same use case without filling your timeline with advertisement and redundancy
