Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth just shattered Ukrainian President Zelensky’s NATO ambitions, declaring that Ukraine will not join the alliance and U.S. troops will not be deployed to the country.

Truman, FDR, hell even Reagan. Letting Russia just do whatever the hell it wants would have been meet with more resistance than what is going and certainly not basically agree to Russian demands.
