Not really.

A badge can show you user preference. And I think it’s a good use case.

If I see a user that has a badge for Formula 1 for example, and we share the same interest, I will follow him for example.

Badges here are so different from the fiat world. Badges are not a status symbol here. You get them for free, and anyone can have them.

i like the way you describe them, i just feel as if a majority of them are lame rather than help me know someone.

What was lame for example is the service that we humans have to verify each other to confirm that we are not bots 😂😂 notabot I think 😂
