My guesses would be that either you have backups turned on for one app but not the other (doubtful) or maybe primal is saving your key in the iCloud Keychain and reloading automatically?

I think Damus is suppose to have this option too, but maybe only when creating a new account. I don’t know how it’s supposed to function with a reinstall
