This is just sad. Everything I sowed either didn’t come up or sprouted and died. I just have a lone cucumber plant that probably won’t have enough time to produce before the cold sets in.

Sorry ghost, that hurts

Thanks 🫂

It is what it is. If gardening teaches you anything it is that you need patience. I’m debating if I should buy some fall young plants to have at least something or just start winter prepping the bed for spring.

Do you save seeds from hearty plants? I’m learning purchased seeds go to shit pretty fast. Some bean seeds that had nearly a 100% germination rate in the spring only sprouted about 40% this fall. Same conditions, indoor at the same location. I’m a new gardener but seed saving is something I’m definitely planning on incorporating.

No not yet. All my seeds are from the little packages

Keith is on the right path, I also don’t trust nature so everything I plant i start indoors. Then plant out. You still should have time for lettuce, they won’t germinate until its below 72

Never give up, never surrender!

Turned Up lol

Put in new fall appropriate nursery grown plants. Also, might be right time to plant snap peas

Snap peas were the seeds that never sprouted. The Brussel sprouts sprouted but died.

Snap peas like cooler weather

You need an S9 and a greenhouse covering for the winter! 😂

Hoping next growing season is better for you!

Plant indoor first and try to avoid purchased seeds .

Or as mentioned above use a nursery-grown for plants.

It happens...could be the seeds, could be the soil, could be, could be, could be...unfortunately.

Some many variables. Have you grown anything in that bed previously?

Sometimes a little organic matter amd a tarp until next year can make a huge difference.
