Good options for beginners to get a lightning address include the Wallet of Satoshi, Speed Wallet or Minibits (for US users) lightning apps 😊
I can also help people check their #nostr address is working (if they have one). Nostr addresses are not mandatory, but some people like using them to add a personal touch to their profile. If you like, I can give you one for free at "yourname@minestr.app". Just get in touch! 😊

Thank you. Can you recommend a good wallet to sync with my Damus client? I’m in the US
Custodial wallet maybe the Speed wallet which is free, I think nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm still has a custodial version, but it has a cost. I use my node through the Alby hub connection
We do not open custodial accounts anymore
