And this is why some people are better suited to be employees. Sure they have the risk of getting fired, but they avoid the weight of the constant balancing act of making the final decisions that can either grow or cave the business, dealing with the changing need of customers, and so on.

The entrepreneur feels all the ups and downs, but the employee only feels it once the down has happened for too long and the entrepreneur can't pay the employee anymore.

(Unless the employee's own actions don't align with the work they're hired to do and then they can get fired sooner, but that's a different point)

Absolutely. There's a glorification of entrepreneurialism today that isn't connected to most people's reality
