If you started seeds indoors, many of them can head out to the garden shortly so keep an eye on the upcoming overnight low temperatures. Many seedlings can handle temps right around freezing but keep empty milk jugs, old bed sheets or row covers handy in case you are surprised by a late frost!

If you plan on sowing seeds directly outdoors, any of the vegetables listed above can be planted as soon as the ground is workable.
