All of my previous worries about Disco Elysium being as facile as large chunks of the Internet turned out to be unfounded. So far it has the quality of a good novel. Like the Lucas Arts games , the original Deus Ex (the 2000 one - less than £1 right now on GoG, the most 2000 game released in 2000) and many other, diverse, games with strong narratives.
