My bank has closed 3 of the 4 nearest branches. Its’ banking app regularly glitches. I think the plan from TPTB is to make conventional banking so unbearable, CBDC feels more convenient.
Like taking a dna altering injection to be “allowed” to go on vacation.

That's one thing I learned years ago: Never trust any single bank. Better to have a few (> 2) banks.
... and better have them in different countries.
When a bank holiday like Easter is going on, a bank is useless anyway since the currency doesn't move anywhere, even if you can log in and see the numbers on the accounts.
But yeah, #bitcoin fixes this. It works each minute of the day, each day of the week and never takes a holiday.
