Sounds like your beef is with entitlement attitudes. Which is a thing. But the power of open source is not the fact that stuff is free.

Whether people feel entitled or not, open source is freedom. It provides trust through transparency, rather than through coercion. Most people don’t get this fine point. Not even many who preach “open source everything”.

But nostr.

Nostr IS all about trust through transparency. If anybody should see how this is essential for freedom, it is us.

Open source is freedom tech, and freedom tech MUST BE open source.
