Switched to ln.tips for zaps and zapped myself with snort but its not showing up on the note because its my own account? Someone zap this post to test it.

Which post did you zap? Lntips now says it detected a zap but i dont see anything registering on snort ...

True, but it also forces the singular amount I can do to 1,000 Sats.
