Great Onyx Lantern Tour @ Mammoth Cave NP
We started our tours at Mammoth Cave NP with the Great Onyx Lantern Tour. This cave system is not part of Mammoth Cave system but is part of the national park. After a short (and pretty wild) bus ride we were assigned lanterns and entered the cave. It was a nice mix of cave geology (different than the Mammoth Cave system) and cave tourism history. Plus no lights just lanterns (with flames)!
