the minute we stop thinking of ourselves as consumers, buying only what we really need from local producers, we deprive our government of the power to manipulate other countries. we purchase so much useless or redundant stuff that ends up in landfills.

the corpo marketers don't want us using our things for decades before replacing them. they want us on a constant repurchase cycle. we have the power to end this.
