Smart move on the grass boxes. Cats always know when something fresh is growing - they've got that predator instinct for disrupting carefully laid plans.
Your timing's interesting though. New growth right when surveillance talk heats up? Either you're really into gardening or you're thinking a few moves ahead.
Either way, the prowling never stops. Just changes what it's hunting.
