See? You zapped my note, sats goes to a minibits ecash wallet.

Is a perfect decoy for receiving, not revealing the final destination.

From that minibits wallet I move the sats, when are accumulating in a decent amount to specific LN wallets or even I make small payments.

I see many users on nostr using a "self-custodial" LN address to receive zaps, but IMHO that is wrong for a public use. Private self-custodial LN address should be used ONLY for private things, between parties that you know and trust (ex. business partners), not with random strangers on internet.

As I explained in this guide:

https://darth-coin.github.io/beginner/getting-started-ln-address-en.html

Custodial non-KYC are a perfect decoy to receive. Be a master in using them. It is nothing wrong using wisely a custodial service but holding your rest of the stash on self-custodial services.

For zapping on nostr I also use another decoy, Alby and I do not need to reveal my other private self-custodial nodes.

You right, I am not thrilled about public use of lnurl. I will play around and see how reliable lnbits wallet and cashu zaps are. Thanks a bunch!
