Which internet browsers work with the Alby (@getAlby) payments extension?

According to project creator Michael Bumann (nostr:npub1xv8mzscll8vvy5rsdw7dcqtd2j268a6yupr6gzqh86f2ulhy9kkqmclk3x), every browser that’s built from Chromium and Firefox should work. Unfortunately, Safari is not supported.

It's pretty easy to port a chrome extension to Safari using X code and CLI command. Sometimes they'll work flawlessly. I wonder how it'd do.

would you be up for helping out?

the biggest problem is updating, because it needs to be updated through the appstore

Attached is the macOS app that you can use in Safari to test it. You'll need to enable the option in Developer settings to allow unsigned extensions. I can also export the Xcode project and send that through if you like. I'm probably not the right person to try and fix the broken bits or use my own Apple dev account for it.

I use it with Brave.
