What are they trying to keep banks around for? Bitcoin exists. Banks are obsolete.
At best, secure vaults is the only thing they can still provide (to keep storing your valuables, and private keys, split up between vaults, of course).
No on needs a "A Decentralised Autonomous Organisation (DAO) to establish and own a global network of community banks."
Except the dying banking cartels.
