Strongly disagree. Bitcoin has a ton more merchant adoption and it's the better SoV.
Learning how to use bitcoin privately is and will be extremely useful.
You can explain all the BTC "privacy" stuff to a large amount of people in your country, during CBDC repression at the mere fundraiser you do in BTC, some people will fail their mixing and you will be responsible for them being in jail
It takes 5 min to go from BTC <> privacycoin both ways, and you protect you and others 🙂

It takes 5 minutes to onboard to monero but what good is that if you can't use it.
I hate the NgU mass adoption hyperbitcoinization meme, but if there is one coin with a shot, it's gonna be bitcoin IMO. That's why learning bitcoin privacy is important.
