Interesting. I plan to use construction grade bags and hope it will keep punctures from happening. Having brewed alcohol, I’m not sure about microbial gas production affecting the look of the vacuum. The beer smell tells me that you did have fermentation. If it were more of a vinegar smell, I’d suspect an air leak during the ferment. If it were too wet, it’d probably smell more like sewage.

I’m lost. For all I know it could be perfect and I just have picky rabbits. I just know it didn’t smell like a lactoferment. Other than that, I think I need smellavision or an in person Workshop.
