Is it supposed to generate a file and you have to download that? When I click Fetch nothing happens?
The file should be automatically downloaded.

And the broadcast, does that have a download/popup or something?
It also downloads a backup file, but just because the browser have them so it's free.

Due to browser limitations, you'll have to use this project in a different way: you'll have to run it locally, so you will need to get the code from the repo and open the index.html file with your browser.
Check instructions on the repo README or on the index.html file.
