Apparently it's ACH instant settlement. After discussing with some folks it seems not as bad and almost inevitable. The digital dollar is already a CBDC.
My thoughts are forming around how this could be leveraged to accelerate the inevitable.
I reserve the right to remain grumpy about it anyway.
