Sadly, the U.S. is working on abolishing freedom of speech too.
Each administration adds their own angle to it.
They chip away...chip away.
The current administration's angle is "anti-semitism."

When you have a woman snatched off the street by masked plain clothed stasi agents for writing an op-ed, free speech is dead.
It's a useless liberty, even in USA anyway.
Nothing significant can be effected by it in a positive way.
It's just the freedom to grumble and flame.
Freedom of civil disobedience is what makes a difference, but no one has that liberty either, even in #USA.
