I agree that they did not look very Jay-like but I will take up for Lukes a bit.
Bases loaded with Clayton Kershaw on the mound, at Dodger Stadium, in the World Series, and no one on either team had any idea where the strike zone was. Kershaw is getting every close call.
We’re maybe not in the World Series without Lukes. Gotta rub some dirt on it and get after it tomorrow.

I hear you but that was 3 pitches in a row. I get the idea of too close to take but a couple of those were not that close. The Jays were going to have a hard time scoring with that lineup so it is disappointing when you give them freebies.
Anyways Lukes has been great for the Jays. I am not putting it all on him but with Springer, Bo, Kirk, Barger out of the lineup they really needed Lukes, Vladdy and Varsho to carry them.
Anyways. Go win tonight.
I just watched the at-bat again and maybe I was letting him off easy. There were a couple stinkers in there.
